As our first episode Shahriar will review two products from Saleae: “Logic” and the brand new “Logic16″. The video review also features USBee SX which is a direct competitor to Logic. Logic ($149) and Logic16 ($299) can be purchased directly from Saleae’s website or from one of their distributors.
Make sure you watch the next episode where we take these units apart to see what makes them tick!

Can this be used as a USB logic analyzer, like the Beagle 480 here?: http://learn.adafruit.com/hacking-the-kinect/usb-analyzer
Really helpful, well made review and teardown. I’m currently in a process of selecting logic analyzer for my needs and this review helped me a lot. What could possibly be also interesting – the max frequency stress test. So instead of decreasing the signal level, leave the signal level constant (e.g. 3V3) and increase the frequency up to the point we get into trouble.
